Extraordinary Dedication &
Expertise in the Care of Pets
Paws Across PA
Walkathon & Pet Fair 2007
June 9th & 16th
As a member of the pet community, we wish to show our appreciation for the tireless efforts displayed by our many local animal rescues and their staff. Though consistently working on a tight budget, these wonderful shelters always seem to find a way to help just "one more" beloved pet. We think supporting them is the least we can do. We hope you agree.
Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals
What They're About:   Francisvale's mission is to provide temporary shelter to homeless animals while trying to find a suitable permanent home for each animal. Francisvale does not euthanize animals to make room for others. Each animal that comes into their shelter is provided with the finest care by their staff and volunteers until a suitable permanent home can be found. If no permanent home is found, animals become a Francisvale resident for life, being given a proper diet, a comfortable place to sleep, outside runs for the dogs and as much love and companionship as they can provide.
How You Can Help:   Monetary/gift donations are always welcome. Did you know that you can support Francisvale by making simple everday purchases at businesses such as: Genuardi's, Office Max, Payless ShoeSource, Pep Boys, and Acme?   Find out more..

Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc.
What They're About:   Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue (BLRR) was started in 1997 with a single volunteer saving a single Lab. Since then the rescue has grown in numbers and geographically. In 2005, they had 73 volunteers and placed 90 dogs into their very own forever homes. BLRR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization funded entirely by donations. Because they depend on donations to operate, they attend many pet fairs and fund-raising events. To view an up-to-date schedule of events click here.
How You Can Help:   Through their Bright Horizons Fund, BLRR is enabling special needs dogs to receive the veterinary care they need and deserve. Monetary donations are always welcome.
